What can you do with some Fruit?

This weeks challenge over on
This great tutorial is brought to you  by...
she has some really cool ideas
to be 'Thrifty' in your craft room...

Well, when I was making my card,
I had NO fruit in the house...
so can you guess what I used to do a

Should I tell you that I used a...

Potato

I cut it in half and tried to make it have different surface areas...
I think if I would have not cut the potato but
'snapped' in half it would have been
more textures...lesson learned...

I did use my Cameo to cut the music note...

I saw this tutorial on YouTube, gotta love You Tube, right...
but it gave me the idea of this easel kind of card...
I think I will share that with you later...
so be sure to come back to learn how to
do this card technique
(not the inked fruit background technique)...

Check out the tutorial,
and give it a try...
Now post it to your blog...
Than link that blog post to

If you use a Mark's Finest Paper's a Heinrich stamp set
your proget will count as 2 entries,
better odds with that...
but you can use any stamp,
just try the tutorial!!!

Well that's about it for now...
Happy Craft'n
have a great weekend I will see you back
on Monday for a new FOSTV post...
Happy Craft'n

Clay Anyone?

Hey it's Katie here
I want to show you how to
play with clay
and make some really cool
embellishments for your cards and other projects...
than you can make one and join us at
Lis Robson is our design team member that
put this tutorial together...
Great Job Lis, thank you...

Tutorial can be found here...

I got some Sculpey III baking clay for my project,
but you can use just about any clay, Wally Word has some
clay that you just mold into what you want and there you have it...
a Clay Embellishment...
easy peasy.
I did have to bake my clay and I do not have a clay press
or pasta thing and I was still just to make it work...
Lots of options you have here...

After I baked my clay, I let it cool
than colored it with
some Stampin Up markers...

added a ribbon and a die cut
from my cameo...and yep
it's time to enter the challenge...

Hope to see you at

by design team member Jane Chambers
is to...
What a fun way to give the gift of art with
a little gift in a gift...
I love this idea

Simple but elegant, don't you think?
I used some washi tape and a doily
and an embossing folder to decorate this bag.
A little bit of dry embossing looks great on a bag...
I used the Love Love Love Stamp Set from
Mark's Finest Paper's a Heinrich Co
online store.
A great place to buy your
stamping supplies.
