The Time Has Come

Hey, and good morning to you...hope your day starts out good and continues to be that way, remember they always say, its what you make of it that makes it count...No what happens...or something like that...lol

No really the time has come, this is my last DtsArts Design team project...I have had a good time being on a design team, but really it takes alot of time and as you all know, that time is not on my side right now!!! So for the last project I have made this bear card...Its original color are black and white for a panda bear, but no...no...no Katie has to change it up abit...so here it is.....

How Tweet it Is

Hey, good day to you!!! It's going to be a good day (I hope) I have had bad things happen to me over the last few weeks, so it's time to have a good day...

Oh Blah Blah Blah... DtsArts sent me this file and I thought it would/could make a great house warming gift for that new family in town...With school starting soon, families tend to settle in for the school year...so what better way then to make them this cute "Home Tweet Home" bag full of goodies, it could be home made cookies/treats, or it could be some school supplies for the kidos ( I know moving in general can cut in to any budget) and I can say from experience that school supplies come in handy and can be expensive...ok again Blah Blah...

Now for my project....

Just buy the birdie file from DtsArts @ diecutdesigner.com and put it on a regular old lunch bag and write on the lunch bag (it's really that simple of a project)... I found this bird was red, so be sure to look for DtsArts RED bird and make it any colors you wish...be creative and open your thoughts...(the file is simple to understand, so don't be scared for the different layers in it) keep your neighbors happy (LOL, heehee). Cuz Happy neighbors are good neighbors!!! its good to keep them on your good side.... So go ahead and make this little TWEET bag for any occasion.

DtsArt Design Team Project

I know its past the 4th of July, but that does not mean we have to stop thinking about our freedom and all that we have in the GREAT USA!!! I am so grateful to live in America and know that I have people willing to battle for MY freedom...It really gets to me when I think about it and all that serve MY country....Thanks to all the many men and women, past and present for your Honor and service to allow me to freedom of EVERYTHING!!!

Ok, so for this weeks design team project we were given the greatest files, I know I always say that but really these are some pretty cool files. Easy to use and fun to play with... I suggest you hop on over to Die cut designer web page and hook yourself up with DtsArts latest and greatest files...

I made mine into a card .... but there are endless options to this collection of files... so I hope you enjoy and I hope that you will drop me a note to tell me what you think...I know it is simple but its too the point...

DtsArt Designer Project, Growin Flower Album....

Ok, as you can see I got my camera to get a few pictures, for now this is what I am going to get...

Well I just took a few pictures of this album cuz I didn't want to overwhelm the post with pictures. This file has 13 pages, with each page an new petal appears. I decided to take this file and make it in to an album for my daughter.

The cover is page 1...then page 2 is January, its got a tag or something like that on one side and a place to put a picture on the other side of the album...

I have just a few pages that I liked best to show you....



The tag comes out of the top of the bird house....





the sand with flip flops on it slides/pivits away for Journaling
in June






the Popcicle comes out of the wrapper for the Journaling something special for August.

Design Team Project for this week....

Hey everyone...I am a bit late in posting this weeks design team project for DtsArt, my Internet is not working well and its really frustrating me...I did not realize how much I do on the Internet everyday...lol... also I had a bit of a family emergency with my daughter, she has type 1 diabetes and if you know anything about type 1 they can go into whats called DKA...its not good..so she was flown 3 hours away to a hospital, but is doing good now and we have been educated a bit more about what and why it happened...it sucks that you have to go through these things to learn something but all is good now and here are my cards that I put together with the frames that Dardi supplied us with this week...

This last one was a bit fitting for the family...

DtsArt Assignment #4

So this is a really fun file to cut... but you do need a 'Sweet Treats Cup' from a Stamp'n Up.
Well with this file and a sweet treats cup you can do almost anything with it... I took a stem of flowers ... took the flowers off to make the pens that you saw earlier in my postings... used that to add the cut file to it...this way I already had my leaves and stems... then with a frosting container decoreated to match, I came up with this:

I added some candy Nerds to the center of the flower with the Sweet Treats Cup to give it a great color, and then added just a couple of other flowers the same size to make a a bunch of notes for this project.

So what do you think. These bunnies are SO cute and they cut so well...Great layering and endless possibilities for creating that spring project or a Easter card or .... your imagination is your limit, you can purchase this file for the all new DieCutDesigner shop... they have a great forum up and running, go on over and check them out and let them know that a DtsArt's design team member sent you there...

Ok so 1 was not enough so I had to do a step card also...I think it turned out good for being rushed for Easter and all....
