Was not sure the little stickers would fit, but they fit like a glove...heehee
this print and cut file is for my Cameo you can get it at the Silhouette Store...
I used fill the page and got 49 stickers on one sheet of sticker paper...
how fun...

Oh, back to the mail box...totally cute huh....

I hope you check out the other designers and see what they created to inspire
YOU!!!

It's a MyGrafico Monday Challenge Post...

This week I decided to show you a couple of  neat freebies MyGrafico has to offer...
I used 2 of them to create this darling purse card...

SVG Purse Invitation Card by Shery K Designs
&
Love Bug Clipart by Sanqunetti Design

I used my Cameo to cut the SVG file...
you need the Designer Edition of Silhouette America to
allow to cut svg files...or you can use SCAL or MTC, too....
but with Silhouette America DE I opened the purse svg file...
then added the digi paper to it...using the print and cut feature
that this program has to offer, I love it so much...
I traced the clip art in order for the Cameo to cut the little bug out too...
added some wire, that I curled around a stick to make it curly...
added a paper bow from Silhouette America online store...
3D Bow by Lori Whitlock

Easy Easy Peasy....

here is what the inside looks like

be sure to check out all the other wonderful creations by
the design team...also join in on the fun at MyGrafico
the challenges are so much fun on the Challenge Blog
oh and the online community that MyGrafico has become is
really neat too...so go check it out too...
so go check out the MyGrafico online store for all you new goodies
start the new year off right...heehee

A quick follow up before work...More Candy Wrappers

I just wanted to show you all the new candy bar wrappers I made...
I might have told you that I made 48 so far...
I have to stop now, cuz I don't have that many friends to give them to
and I don't have a store to sell them in...so I had to stop ... oh pooh huh...
well there is always next year that I can make more...
maybe next year I will be more prepared and do it BEFORE the
Local Christmas Business and Craft showcase...heehee
NOTE TO SELF

These I added a gift card envelop to the back and gave
it a few stamps from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich co....
the gift card envelop was from SVGCuts...I think it was a freebie
to boot....if interested in it, I will see what I can do to find it for you
or at least a link to it...

Santa got changed up a bit...I changed the color of the buckle and also
did the faux suede technique on the belt...
don't know what the faux suede technique is?
well its where you manage to get the paper to peel apart and
use the inside of the paper as your 'outside' ...
oh that did not make much sense...heehee
ok better definition...
use a bone folder to curl the paper/die cut several time in all directions.
This will break down the fibers of the card stock and soften it
so that the layers begin to separate. Gently peel apart the two layers. If
the layers will not separate easily, continue distressing with the bone folder.
A crimper can also be used to separate the layers..
this is a technique I learned from my local Stamp'n Up demonstrator
she does a monthly Tools and Techniques class for the more advanced
crafters' in the area...oh I love you Bernice, you do such a great job...
Thanks for the many dandy ideas. It paid off...lol
oh and I used another stamp from MFPaHc for the back of this
Santa candy bar...
'Christmas Wishes'

Now for the Wonderful snowman follow up

OMG they are so darn cute, huh...
I know I am not supposed to brag about my own projects but I have to say
something great about this one...

Now for the little hats, I used the tutorial from Kerry
she did the best Youtube video tutorial...
I had to share with you...
in short you take a long strip of 'stretchy' material, make sure the stretch
is going the 'right' way...
sew the strip in a long tube, turn it right side out...
add the tube to the end of the candy bar...
roll the brim and tie it off... then add the embellishments, like a bell or
twine, just make it look good... Oh and cut the end off long enough
so you can cut the fringe into the hat...you know what I am talking about right?
now add a little scarf...I used the same material or ribbon for the scarf
the ribbon is just as cute too...
I gave these a little stamp too...again from Mark's Finest Papers online store.
Oh my where has the time gone...oh I must get ready for the dreaded work thing...
got to pay for my habit or addiction whatever it is...

MyGrafico Monday... Neighbor Style

Good Monday to you...
today I choose the

to create this darling, if I may say so myself...
Neighbors' Christmas Gift...

I found somewhere on the world wide web, this darling saying
"We're not trying to be 'corny', we just want you to have a Merry Christmas"

added some candy canes and some twine to this .49 cent corn bread mix...
these labels made it so easy to put this together, quick too...
I used my Cameo's print and cut function to cut the label out too...

Now what will you make for your neighbors?

MyGrafico Monday...Choo Choo

OMG!!! look how cute this is...
if I can say so myself...lol

I used this digi file from MyGrafico
by Revidevi

I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo
to print these cute little trains ... then put them on my cutting mat
and the Cameo did all the hard work...

I can totally see a birthday party with all the kids having their
very own cup...and what a savings for mom...not using a bunch of cups...
then toss them when done...or even send them home with a goodie bag...
oh wow, the possibilities are endless...
maybe I should have made a goodie bag too...oh well
the cups and the gift bag...
oh yeah the gift bag...
it too was printed on my printer then cut with the Cameo...
I love how you can take just about any digi image and make an .svg
to cut with the designer edition of the Silhouette America...

here are some more pictures of the cute cups...

Now it's your turn to make something cool..

The MyGrafico Community is so much fun to be apart of...and it's free...
so go check it out...enter the challenges on the Challenge Blog...

Hope to see you all there...

Happy Monday!!!

my best friend is teaching me the program...and so far I love it...
it's such a must have...

use chalk somehow/someway....

I used chalk to color the hair...
I used this cute little box for 'Fun' Size candy (found in the Silhouette America online store)

Oh my July is over !!!

Well almost that is...
this is  my last post for Chalk N Stock in July
our wonderful sponsor
It has been so fun to work with these great digi stamps...

It has been a
kind of month

the last of the bunch of get well cards I made for the month...
oh I just love how the alcohol markers makes me feel like an artist
I look back at my coloring that I have done and think
WOW that is pretty nice...
I used the chalks to mute the coloring on the outer frame
and of course used Startdust chalk to make it shine...
but that was not captured with the photo...
added some bling, and put it on a bright and fun color card
this is an A2 size card, like most of my cards are now days...heehee
I used the Silhouette America DE software to create the image to print
when doing that I added the 'Get Well' to print too...
the little sunflower on the upper right is also cut using my Cameo
then colored with alcohol markers
Easy Easy Easy
I hope you have enjoyed each of the creations I have brought to you
for the month of July...

More to come for August
we have a new sponsor and some exciting news to share
for the upcoming months...
but can't tell you just yet...
you must come back often
to find out what we have up our sleeves for

you have just a few more days to add your card to the challenge
for a chance to win 3 images from Scribbles by Sandy !!!

Chalk N Stock ~ Get Well

Again...

Hee hee
we are still on the same challenge
any Chalk
and
any Image

This month we are being sponsored by

I used a Sunflower digi stamp again this week...
I colored the image with my alcohol markers after printing it out
using the print and cut on my Cameo...
I like to put the image on the virtual mat when using digi stamps
this way I can have my Cameo cut the images...

I covered the colored image with startdust chalk
I also used Versa Mark and a sponge dauber to get the pokadot effect...
then used the chalk to color over the background... stamped my sentiment over that...
and whalah there you have a nice get well card with chalk
easy peasy... now it's your turn to use chalk and enter our challenge...
We are looking for more followers so please help us get our name out there...

MyGrafico Monday

Good Monday
How was your weekend?

Today I bring to you a MyGrafico Design Team Project...

We were given this file to work with...

LOL, this was a hard one for me,
as I have NO babies now or in the near future...
well I hope it's a few more years before my kidos have their own kidos...
so anyway, I came up with the little card to welcome a new member to the family...

I used my Cameo to print and cut the image for the front of the card,
then colored it with my alcohol markers, Spectrum Noir
I added a charm to the edge just below the lace on the right hand side...
it's kind of hard to see that cute little duck charm so you will have to take my word that it's cute...
the background paper is from the stash, I think I have had it for 5 years now...
you see I have this little problem with designer paper and card stock...
I have to save it for a special occasion so I often wont use it, cuz
it might look better on something else I make in the future...
I am working on this problem, but I am a paper hoarder...lol...
and I think most of us crafters hoard something...well mine is designer paper/card stock...heehee
well that's my tid bit of me...

Go check out the other design team members,
and their projects...be sure to leave some love
also head on over to the challenge blog
where you can enter your creation...

GET WELL ~ in 'Chalk' Style

Today I have a get well card to share
with you all...
I created it for the Chalk N Stock Challenge Blog

This month we are being sponsored by:

we got some cute little digi files to work with...sunflowers...oh I just love them...
so I put these cute little digi files on the virtual mat in the Cameo program...
Designer Edition of Silhouette America
I traced the images and I also made them to size on the virtual mat...
I printed the images then colored them with the Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
then used my Cameo to cut the images.
also used the Amy Chomas marker holder to 'draw' the titles...
so... Print and cut can be that easy...

after I had it all colored and cut out...
I took it to my 'misting' station...
a box with some paper towels in it...lol...
sprayed the finished images with water and Stardust chalk...
heat set to dry with the heat gun...
then added some twine...there you have my secret now....

Ok so its not just my secret but I wanted you to know how I make my cards...
be sure to be careful when spraying the water and chalk mix not to get
too much water...maybe mix with 70% Alcohol (or higher) and chalk ...
that way the makers/coloring wont run as bad...just an idea...I will have to try it when I need to make my next batch of spray...

Get Well
Any Image
Any Chalk
Just use CHALK and enter this month challenge over at
Hope to see you there...
More next week ... so hop on back over for another get well creation...

Sunday ~ Funday

As the weekend comes to a close...
I wanted to share with you a little something
"Bee Happy"
for this little card
I used the technique that they showed but added my own touch to it...
Instead of a Side Step Card...
I did a Middle Step hard...
the same but different...
oh I hope it still counts
as I am putting this card in this challenge...
keeping my fingers crossed...
C ya all tomorrow for a MyGrafico file to share...

OMG~ Monday's over Already?

WOW,
what happened to the time...
oh yeah I had not internet this morning...
so you all missed my
MyGrafico post for the week
so now you have to put up with my late post...

So for today we got Fancy Flowers Digital Stamp Set
Don't you just love Lindsay's Stamp Stuff !!
whoot wooh...
how fun are these pretty flowers...
Now I wanted to
'think' out side the box...
so this week I made this little tiny gable box...
It turned out so cute...I found this sentiment to go with it in my stash of files...
who knows where I really got it...lol
I used the print and cut feature with my cameo,
pulled the digi stamps on to the virtual mat
print the images on my wonderful large format printer...
oh how I love that printer...heehee
then colored these flowers with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers...
on they make me fell like I am an artist...
I love how I can blend the colors and I know that I am only a beginner !!!
so I have lots of room to improve...
Remember to hop on over to the MyGrafico Challenge blog and enter your creation...
Oh yeah I have some exciting news for tomorrows' post...

So I wanted to let her know that I am Berry Sorry for being a flake...
I wanted to be there for her but I just got wrapped up in life...
Well there is the story behind this card...
I hope you enjoyed it...
used my Cameo to do the print and cut of the strawberries,
colored them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers
 then added some twine...
Pretty simple...
Have a happy week...I know it's going to be a busy one for me....

Happy Birthday ~ America

Good Morning
My Grafico Monday
I have the fun and exciting digital goodies for you today...

This is where you can find this great digital file and more...
so with this I made a invitation for a BBQ
every year for July 4
the local fire department puts on the best BBQ
followed by the best fire works show of the surrounding area.
So when I think of 4th of July
I think of the wonderful community BBQ
people from all over the area come to our BBQ it's so good !!!

Second, I thought I would make a 'Birthday' Card to celebrate the Nations Birthday
or any birthday.
I just love how this turned out
the cherry stem is made of doodle twine ~ beetle black
added some buttons and there you have a great card.

Well I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette America Designer Edition
I pulled the cupcake on to the virtual mat,
used the trace image so I could cut just around the image
then I 'mirrored' the image and lined it up so that they were over lapping a bit
then cut that new shape our, which is my card base
then did the print and cut feature for the front of the card
added some buttons from the stash
then I did the title with the Cameo too...
I just used any font I had, that I liked...
then used the offset tool to create the shadow
cut the shadow in navy blue and the letters in white
put the letters through the xxyron  150.
amd thats about if for this card.
I hope this as either inspired you or got your creative juices going again...
I can only hope that my short tutorials
help you to use your cutter to the ex-stream, hee hee

Your on the right Track...

Good Morning...
Happy Father's day to all those wonderful dad's out there ...

I have for you a winner of my game
that was played
on Thursday ...
1-the shells are placed differently 2-One card is landscape the other portrait 3- the cardstock is different, one is a print the other is solid 4- there is black behind the lace on one card 5- one small shell is missing on one card. 6- The large shell runs off the page on one card I like both cards. They are very pretty. The shells look like charcoal drawings. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown edwina.brown@live.com

Edwina I have sent you an email to claim your prize...
to everyone that played along
Thanks for playing...

Now for my project today
I just love this technique that Lois shared with us ...
what fun it was to use my Cameo to cut these pieces...
I tore my co-ordinations paper to create the mountains
I used my Sizzix 'brink' embossing folder with black ink in it to create the brick around the tunnel
I did print and cut with the sentiment, so I guess you could say its a digi file...
I also created the sky using powdered chalk
created most of my cut files myself
so it was a bit of a challenge to get it to all come together...
I hope you have enjoyed this project, if so please let me know by leaving a comment...
Thanks a ton

MyGrafico ~ Graduation Time

It's graduation time...
well for my area that was about 2 weeks ago...
But better late then never, right...hee hee
This week we have a great file to share with you

so this is what I came up with for this weeks Challenge
'Graduation'
I used the print and cut feature with my Cameo, die cut machine
I used the Silhouette America program to pull the images on to the virtual mat
re-sized them to fit on the card from Silhouette America store
I then printed the card with the images...
cut the card with my Cameo
then I added the Graduation Die cut in the middle
and some brads and a tassel that I made
oh and the '2012' die cut that I made again with the Cameo
I don't remember the font I used...sorry
I inked the edges for a richer feel.
and there you have it...
a graduation card for that special someone in you life

I hope you all have a great start to the new week...
I will be working out of town this week so I will not be posting much...
but for now
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
