OH MY GOSH!!!

It's really been since January that I posted something on here?
WOW,
oops, sorry...
thank you for hanging around to see if I get back in to blogging and all that good stuff...
My mojo is coming back, so that is a wonderful thing...

Yesterday, I made a cute fire truck
the kit is an SVGCuts.com kit...
it's from the

WOW,
I got carried away with the bling...what do you think?
I just love how it turned out...
I think I will be donating it to the local volunteer fire department
Holbrook volunteer Fire Department.
The fire department has a long wall of fire trucks that was
donated by a previous volunteer.
I think that's the best place for it, maybe...
Maybe I might have to keep it or give it to my
dad Jim. he was a volunteer fireman for many years.
So,  I might give it to him? we will see
I will try to let you know who got this darling fire truck.
OH, and thank god for Mary and Leo,
it was a bit tricky to put together, but they made is so
much easier by their great video tutorials...
What a great resources that is for us paper craft'ers.

So I bet you want to see more of what I have been doing...

Ok,
This next one is a horrible picture but you can see I used the

I used some of the DSP from Stampin Up
what great colors to put together.
I also used some background stamps I have.
So fun huh... love all the colors and how they go together so well...

Next, a stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers and penny slider card
to make this darling interactive card.

very cute...I love'd it so much I had a couple of my crafter's make a set of 2 during
one of my workshops.
I host workshops in my home...I have a big craft room devoted to my crafting...
it's such a fun part of the house...it only takes up about
25% of the house...heehee and I love it...

Here is another card I made using the Banner Banter stamp set and the Banner Punch
both from Stampin Up. Also from Stampin Up the Petite Petals stamp set and punch.
I just love the punch and stamp sets by Stampin Up...they are great...

The edge of the card is a Braided Card I got the technique from
she is a cool Stampin Up Independent Demonstrator
that makes the great video tutorials...you should check her out...

Next is some cards I made using the
from Stampin Up.

this is a great stamp, I have used it on so many cards
lately. It's so fun...
What do you think? cool huh...
Here is a close up of the father's day card...

Just perfect...
The tags on each side of the sentiment uses
the Banner Punch from Stampin Up...
It's so easy to make the flag look.

Ok, ready for more?

Here is the front of the Graduation announcements I did for my son's
High School Graduation

I made 40 of these, that was quite the task...
it took me a long time to finish and send them out...
but they did go out a week before the graduation.
As they were an announcement not an invitation.
So proper edicite was used in sending these cute announcements...
the inside is so cute... It has a picture of him and the information.
We made a QR code and printed them on a clear sticker paper,
it's link to his blog.
The blog has a link to PayPal to give a gift of money...
Funny, huh...
Some day I will try to post the inside too..
maybe?

Well, off to make some more fun projects...
I will try to post more often...

Anything Goes at FOSTV Challenge # 100

This weeks challenge at
is...
So what did I make?

 Yep I made that...lol

I used my Cameo to cut the gingerbread shape then stamped the image...
it's such a fun way to fussy cut an image...let the die cutter do the hard work
You can find tutorials on how to use your Cameo to fussy cut your stamp images...
I loved how I thought of giving just 1 gingerbread stamp a heart...
I also used my Stamp-A-Majig by Inkadinkado...
I am not so good at using the stamp-a-ma-jig, so I need lots of practice, right....
but to make the stamped sentiment in the corner so I could make
the image look very good, deep color to it...I stamped it a few times
and with this cool tool you can do that easy pegy...

The stamp sets used for this project are:
Presents 2013,
Holiday Tag 2013
Winter Scenes 2012
you can get these stamp sets at
Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co online store

This weeks challenge over on
This great tutorial is brought to you  by...
she has some really cool ideas
to be 'Thrifty' in your craft room...

Well, when I was making my card,
I had NO fruit in the house...
so can you guess what I used to do a

Should I tell you that I used a...

Potato

I cut it in half and tried to make it have different surface areas...
I think if I would have not cut the potato but
'snapped' in half it would have been
more textures...lesson learned...

I did use my Cameo to cut the music note...

I saw this tutorial on YouTube, gotta love You Tube, right...
but it gave me the idea of this easel kind of card...
I think I will share that with you later...
so be sure to come back to learn how to
do this card technique
(not the inked fruit background technique)...

Check out the tutorial,
and give it a try...
Now post it to your blog...
Than link that blog post to

If you use a Mark's Finest Paper's a Heinrich stamp set
your proget will count as 2 entries,
better odds with that...
but you can use any stamp,
just try the tutorial!!!

Well that's about it for now...
Happy Craft'n
