today I bring to you a card for the

Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers
Darice embossing folder

I got mine from
Consumer Crafts

MyGrafico Monday ~ For Dad

It's tool time !!

has this great Vector Clip Art at MyGrafico Arts and Crafts Store
Check out that great online store...
Each week we have a
Design Team Project to inspire you
this week is a Challenge Week
All about DAD

I used my Cameo's print and cut abilities
and cut each of the elements with the Cameo after printing them on my own printer,
in case your not familiar with that technique.
It was the selling point for me to 'justify' a new electronic cutter ... hee hee it worked

so with this I used my adjustable marker holder by Amy Chomas with my Cameo
to create the peg board

card stock from the stash
brown zig marker w/marker holder
and the Crafty Clip vector images
I even added one of the cut elements on the envy to match the card...

Easy Peasy !!!

now it's your turn to try your hand at the
all about dad's challenge

Happy Monday !!!
Happy Craft'n !!!

'Happy Mail' this week from a good friend...
she sent me a whole big bag of different charms and brads

My New Marker Holder

So today was a great day
I got to spend some time with my dad
(too bad it's not father's day already)
No he is really fun to be with....
anyway I got these new alcohol markers by
Spectrum Noir
and I just had to have a place safe and some where I would see them so that I will use them
I found a few different things online, but they were all too expensive
and I knew my dad could help me with this project
so we went to his 'stash' of goodies ... lol
his stash of lumber and such and made this wonderful marker holder...

this is just perfect for my markers...
and there are not too many more spaces to fill...
which is good for me...
as I am the type to have to fill them all up NOW !!! hee hee
but really I can see me making another one in the feature to add to the collection...
I think now that we know what we are doing...the next one should be much faster to make...
but it was good times with dad, that's what makes it even more special...

as you can see I have already found stuff to put on top of it...
I have too much stuff...lol...
but really can a crafter have too much stuff ?

Dad,
Thanks for helping me ... this was so fun and now we know what we are doing for next time,
and yeah there will be a next time ... but not for a while
I hope anyway...hee hee

My Newest Addition to My Crafting Supplies ...

OMG, I am hooked ...
I found these Alcohol Markers over at
they are similar to the Copic Markers
but at a better price ...
some might say you get what you paid for...
but not ever touching a Copic I know no difference
so with that...
here is my 1st coloring I did with these

If you look hard
you can see the little artist in the middle

I used a Tuxedo Black by Memento ink pad
with a StampN Plus ScrapN stamp
then I colored my image with these great markers ...
for my 1st time even opening an alcohol marker
I think I did pretty good ...
I love how they blend the colors and looks like
the edges are inked and darker...and there are
softer spots in the colors...oh fun fun fun...

So this is my newest little adventure
I hope you enjoy your weekend ...
I know I am going to !

Happy day
