Mak'n Memories Happen....

Happy New Year...
to all my friends in blogger world...
what a nice way to bring in the new year...
I stayed home in my pjs with the family...
I did some crafting and was warm...lol

Well I did do a really cool project...

I saw this idea on Pinterest a while back...
and knew I wanted to start a family tradition of this...

You take a jar and throughout the year you add little messages about
good things that happened or good memories...

I thought this would be so fun...
so I took it a step further and made my own custom jar...

So Many Happy Memories
a Silhouette America file
a Samantha Walker Design

Added some purple and pink vinyl circles...
thinking about adding white, what do you think?
well then I added a Chalkboard Vinyl to the lid so I can put the
current year in chalk...but I need a chalk stick to do that with....lol
on my need list now...heehee

then I was talking to a friend online and she threw out the idea to
add ribbon and a pen and maybe some tags that can come off the ribbon easy,
but I thought a small not pad would work better.
so added some ribbon and a pretty pen and a custom note pad...
and there you have my
Mak'n Memories Happen Jar...

What do ya think?

I will be doing more of these ...they were so fun to make...and easy too...

Have a happy new year
may good things happen this year to each of you...

Yippy it's FRIDAY...TTOSTV time...

Would you like to win this stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich co?

Well you can. Just enter this week's challenge over at
an online community of stampers and crafters...
lots of fun and inspiring ideas...

This weeks challenge is to make a luminaire...
our design team member Davi gave us a great tutorial to follow with
3 different ways of making a luminaire.
I did mine just a bit different then what her tutorial outlined...
always got to be out side the box...lol

what do you think? kind of cool huh...
I used the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set by MFPaHc
some vellum, and here is the trick to my luminaire...a older style
Chrystal Light container...I love to keep little containers for occasions like this...
I stamped the images on to the vellum, both on the inside and outside of the vellum,
I wanted it to have different 'layer's to the opacity of the light...
I punched a few holes in the top of my container with my Crop a dial...
cut some white vinyl with my cameo to make some pretty snowflakes
Then colored my snowman from the 'inside' of the vellum before adding it to the container...
then added a tea light, (one of those led batteries tea lights)...

Now it's your turn, I would love to see what you can do with this challenge...

Happy Craft'n

This week is
so be sure to join us in this challenge

by: Sanqunetti Design
is what we used for the inspiration

So what do you think of something WAY different then before...

I used vinyl for my project today... I did what they call a
split letter for the 'W' with my Cameo then added the frame from
set at the MyGrafico Shop
Cut the vinyl with the desired design with my Cameo
I used the Silhouette America Designer Edition to design my project...

added it to my very plain wedding album ( yep a 3 ring binder) ...
I was so .... empty before

Now it looks great...
I just love how it turned out...
photoed with it are some pages from the inside ...

Happy Craft'n everyone...
I hope you have been inspired by my work today...
Enjoy your day...
