Welcome to my Blogaversary. I'm tired of winter and thought it was time for a "spring fling"!!! All I asked for the crafters was to do something that reflects birth which is what spring means to me in pastel and floral colors! We have a wonderful group of sponsors that want to have "Spring" too ..... I would ask that each of you take the time to stop and visit each one of the sponsors. They have graciously donated their talent for this hop.

I don't want you to miss a single spring project and want you to start at the beginning of spring at Kimberly.  I can hardly believe I have been blogging and showcasing my crafts for a year now!!! I've grown just like spring and learned so much as I have traveled the crafting path. I am sure you will be as impressed with the talent from these crafters as I am.

Today I have for you an altered project...

I took a 1 subject Notebook (can be any brand or size) this one is 10.5 x 5 70 sheets college ruled. I cut with my Cameo a piece of plain white card stock and the same size with the floral paper...I just did not want the black and the letters to show thru the paper...I used Heat'n Bond and a hot iron to bond these papers together and to the front of the notebook... I then used the Cameo to create these great rosettes...found from the Silhouette store...I re sized them all different sizes...oh and yeah they can't go too big...lol...found that out the hard way...then I added a little bling to the center of each of the rosettes and some ribbon...
pretty simple and easy peasy...

I hope you have enjoyed this project...kind of simple and plain but fun to give to that someone that just needs a 'pick me up'...what a wonderful way to brighten someones day... :~)
I hope you choose to become a follower and stick around a while...to check out all the different projects I have done and will be doing...I love 3D Paper Crafting and now learning how to use this very cool powder chalk by Chalk Ah Lot ...

Thank you for stopping by and remember "think spring" and have that "spring fling"!! your next stop along the way on the garden path is Lucy

  15. Katie, your journal is very cute. I love the rosettes. I was on a kick with those last fall and made a whole fall wreath with different sized ones. They also look great on your paper choice. Very cute. Happy Blogoversary! tfs Tami
