Hey everyone, it's another great

This how I used some metal...

My youngest child brought me a gift the other day,

she said she 'found a cool 'thing' that looked like something I could/would use'

it was ArtEmboss, Medium Copper in a tube...

how perfect was that...just in time for making this challenge card...

So the ArtEmboss medium copper 

I cut it down to size (I cut it with my paper trimmer)

than embossed it with an embossing folder...

by Cuttlebug, Decorative Tile Set, it looks cool don't you think?

It's time again for the

FOSTV Challenge # 86

 

This challenge was fun...

and I think my card is just the cutest...

one of my best works of art...

sorry just brag'n a bit, heehee

 

Well the Challenge # 86 is to do a card with using

ONLY a Sentiment...

 

So with that I want to show you my little creation...

 

 

OMG!!!

it's darling, huh...

 

I used some scrap designer cardstock, not sure who made it...

but I used it for a little 3D cowboy boot a while back...

and the pink cardstock is by Close to my Heart...

and the craft cardstock is from Oriental Trading...

it's great cardstock, and cuts GREAT with my Cameo die cutter...love it

 

well now for the info so you can try and win a great

and they stamp so nicely...love them too

Blocking it out is really kind of fun...

I first thought I could not do it...

but then I like the results so much I hope to do more in the future....

So here is what I was thinking...

Using Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. stamps

makes things pretty easy to make some great cards

for each of the challenges...

 

 

If I had a garden, I would love this stamp set so much more...

but I have the stamp set and still no garden...lol

giving your 'fruits of labor' can be so rewarding,

add a hand made card to a friend or neighbor...

what a great way to say...just about anything...

Snow Time Any Time

Today I bring you a new tutorial for

Thrifty Stamper

shows us how to make snow,

 

Styrofoam Snow

 

Now learn how to make some Styrofoam Snow

it's pretty easy, and fun...

though it's a little messy, too...

 

 

I am kind of bummed you can't see my Styrofoam Snow too well,

but if you look harder you can see there is a bit of that

White Stuff on the tips of the branches...

 

I think it could look better with another type of Styrofoam,

as all I had was some Styrofoam balls from the dollar store...

I think packing Styrofoam would look better.

I also used a cheese grater to create my faux snow...

 

So with that in mind...do ya want to win?
