It's a sliding easel card for the front...

I saw this on SplitcoastStampers

and had to make a cut file for it...

darling huh...

I gave this card to my hair dresser, she loved it so much...

could not believe the magic...

Well I had not, so I looked it up on YouTube for this tutorial

and found this crazy easy bag/ box to use for just about any occasion...

YouTube shows it as a little Bride and Groom,

Challenge 29

So for my gift box I used my Cameo to cut the box...

looks kind of like the 2 x 4 x 6 x 8 box and about the same size too...

but you know me...always using my Cameo to do the cuts...

too cute...I added TicTac candies to this project to show just how easy 

it would be to put together a quick gift...

used one of the new stamp sets by Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co

Ivy and Blossoms Stamp Set

for the sentiment.

Papers are by Graphic 45, and some doodle bug twine...

Easy Peasy...quick gift for that last minute gift giving...

OMG, this is such a fun technique, and if you do not know how to do

Cracked Glass just click on the linked word, it will take you to a great tutorial...

in fact there are two tutorials on Mark's Finest Papers Speedy TV community...

both are great tutorials to learn this technique.

I had so much fun with this technique I made 2 cards...

For both of these cards I used the
Oh Beans stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich co.

I added some flowers that were dipped in the same color ink as the paper and the image of the cup. I used Memento Tuxedo Black for the sentiment. The ribbon is really seam binding I got in bulk from a friend, got ta love those Bestest friends...
I did take a bit of ink over the cracked glass image after is was all cracked and ready to put on the project...a little dry embossing behind the images makes for a different look...

Now for this one, can you see the cracked glass technique here? its in the beans...lol
I used Stampin' up ink with the Oh Bean's stamp set to create the background
then took one of the bean piles and fussy cut it...used the cracked glass technique
and put it in place... The sentiment is also from that same stamp set...
as you can see this stamp set is very versatile. I really like this set...

TTOSTV time...Diaper Fold Card or Pocket

Have you seen this cute fold before...

well if you have changed any diapers before, you have...

but this time its with paper or card stock..

Today's tutorial is to make a Diaper fold card or pocket for a card...

Pam from the design team shows us how to do this darling DIAPER fold card...

I have 2 pictures of this card for you today... 

the first one shows you with the tag in it's fun little pocket..

 This second one shows the tag next to the card...

How cute is this ... you have a card with a pocket...and in the pocket 

you can do just about anything...add a tag, add some goodies, or

you can add a small toy for a kids card...just about anything will go...

you can also make it any size you want...

just start with a square paper/card stock, I used a 7 inch double sided designer paper...

it helps to use a double sided paper, but you know if you have 

a piece of paper that is printed on 1 side and white on the other...

it's double sided...right...you could even add to the white side

a stamp, like I did with the card base. I used the Celebrate Mini Stamp Set

I earned in a card swap, FREE, for doing the card swap...

Stamped it over and over, only reinking it every other stamped image...

then added the diaper fold pocket to the outside of the card...added the tag from the 

same designer paper and white card stock...

there you have a diaper fold pocket card...

Santa got a hat...

Ok so a few peps thought my Santa candy wrappers needed a hat...

so with that I added one to a wrapper this morning...

yeah they are that easy to put together...

I sewed the tub of red velvety material...

made the wrapper, added the buttons and the belt...

added some powdered chalk to the white piece,

the picture does not show that much...

Added some bells and a pom pom to the added hat...

ribbon for the brim of the hat...

there you have a new and improved Santa Candy bar wrapper...

did it help...what else can I do to make more of these buggers? heehee

taking ideas now...or orders if you want some...

I hope to make some for other holidays too...

so be sure to keep an eye out...

A quick follow up before work...More Candy Wrappers

I just wanted to show you all the new candy bar wrappers I made...

I might have told you that I made 48 so far...

I have to stop now, cuz I don't have that many friends to give them to

and I don't have a store to sell them in...so I had to stop ... oh pooh huh...

well there is always next year that I can make more...

maybe next year I will be more prepared and do it BEFORE the 

Local Christmas Business and Craft showcase...heehee 

NOTE TO SELF

 These I added a gift card envelop to the back and gave

it a few stamps from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich co....

the gift card envelop was from SVGCuts...I think it was a freebie

to boot....if interested in it, I will see what I can do to find it for you

or at least a link to it...

Santa got changed up a bit...I changed the color of the buckle and also

did the faux suede technique on the belt...

don't know what the faux suede technique is?

well its where you manage to get the paper to peel apart and

use the inside of the paper as your 'outside' ...

oh that did not make much sense...heehee

ok better definition...

use a bone folder to curl the paper/die cut several time in all directions.

This will break down the fibers of the card stock and soften it

so that the layers begin to separate. Gently peel apart the two layers. If

the layers will not separate easily, continue distressing with the bone folder.

A crimper can also be used to separate the layers.. 

this is a technique I learned from my local Stamp'n Up demonstrator

she does a monthly Tools and Techniques class for the more advanced

crafters' in the area...oh I love you Bernice, you do such a great job...

Thanks for the many dandy ideas. It paid off...lol

oh and I used another stamp from MFPaHc for the back of this 

Santa candy bar...

'Christmas Wishes'

Now for the Wonderful snowman follow up

OMG they are so darn cute, huh...

I know I am not supposed to brag about my own projects but I have to say 

something great about this one...

Now for the little hats, I used the tutorial from Kerry

she did the best Youtube video tutorial...

I had to share with you...

in short you take a long strip of 'stretchy' material, make sure the stretch

is going the 'right' way...

sew the strip in a long tube, turn it right side out...

add the tube to the end of the candy bar...

roll the brim and tie it off... then add the embellishments, like a bell or

twine, just make it look good... Oh and cut the end off long enough

so you can cut the fringe into the hat...you know what I am talking about right?

now add a little scarf...I used the same material or ribbon for the scarf 

the ribbon is just as cute too...

I gave these a little stamp too...again from Mark's Finest Papers online store.

Oh my where has the time gone...oh I must get ready for the dreaded work thing...

got to pay for my habit or addiction whatever it is...

FOSTV Happy Holiday Challenge #51...

Hey, I am here to inspire you ...

I hope I do my job...heehee

so this week the challenge is to do a Holiday Card...

I choose to make my card more of a general winter card...but it works, right...

I dry embossed the card front but added Versamark to the folder...

then I heat embossed the white snowflakes...I cut a snowflake using

my Cameo and added it...I also took the sewing machine to the 

edges of the sentiment strip, if you call it that...

Stamp set used by MFPaHc is a mini stamp set I earned doing a card swap...

I Have Been Busy make'n stuff....

It's that time of the year, that we all have so much to do and so little time to do it in...

Yah that dreadful Christmas shopping...

well this year I have decided to make as many things for friends and family

as I have so many crafts that I have gotten ready to make and never made them...

so ...

I made my co-workers these darling candy bars...

 Rudolf is so darling, with the googly eyes and the big red nose...how cute

I cannot take credit for coming up with this idea, as 

Pinterest is a new addiction for me...lol 

 Santa was so fun to make...used an embossing folder to dry emboss the white part of his

'coat'. Buttons were the perfect addition to this project...

Oh and now the snowman...or woman should I say...

I got this darling file for FREE over at Amiee Asher

the file is by Laura Furnell Designs

Snowman Candy Bar Wrapper

I added the ribbon and flowers and candy bar, of course...lol

so I wanted to share with you how EASY these were to put together...

I took a half sheet of card stock (red, brown and white)

well the white ones were printed 2 to a sheet and cut in half...

the width of the wrappers I found was good at 5 5/8

so measurement of card stock 5 1/2 x 5 5/8

on the 5 5/8 side I scored at the following marks

11/2, 13/4, 37/8, 41/8

this was the perfect fit for the 'normal' size chocolate bar...1.55oz

I created the layout of the snowman in Photoshop so I could print 

2 on a sheet, and it worked out pretty good...I am sure whatever photo

editing software you have you can figure it out too....

I created all the cut files in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition...

if you are interested in the cut files, just leave me a comment, 

as I can email them to you in studio format

This project went really fast, I was kind of bummed when I was done...

WHAT, NO MORE? ALREADY ...lol

so I think I will try to make some more tomorrow...

This card was kind of fun to put together...

I used the digi stamp from Bugaboo...

colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers

and added star dust chalk to the white areas of her dress and hat...

and used sunshine color chalk to color in her hair...

I love how chalks can give such a nice color to your image without

making it 'too' much color...I highlighted the hair with an alcohol marker...

too cute huh...

oh yeah I used the marker tool by Amy Chomas with my Cameo for the 

"Show until you Drop" sentiment...

Well go Shop until you Drop...only a few more days of shopping for 

Christmas...

Remember  Chalk N Stock will be running this months

challenge for the WHOLE month of December...so you have lots of time to get your

I made this darling little mug gift for I am not sure who but it's sure cute...

not sure where I got the cut file from a while back, so sorry for not giving a link to it...and credit of course...so I took 2 designer papers and used Heat n Bond to bond them together...

then I cut the file using my Cameo die cut machine... I took the sewing machine to the edges of the cup

...wish I would have used a darker thread but I did not...I don't sew ... lol

then I added my little 'cool whip topping' that I made last year for my little pumpkin pie I did...

that wraps it up...lol...what a fun and simple gift ... now maybe I will give it to the boss man...heehee shhhh don't tell....

to create this darling little gift box...

using Graphic 45 paper and AC Card stock ...

it all came together nice...

our design team member Davi gave us a great tutorial to follow with

3 different ways of making a luminaire.

I did mine just a bit different then what her tutorial outlined...

always got to be out side the box...lol

what do you think? kind of cool huh...

I used the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set by MFPaHc

some vellum, and here is the trick to my luminaire...a older style

Chrystal Light container...I love to keep little containers for occasions like this...

I stamped the images on to the vellum, both on the inside and outside of the vellum,

I wanted it to have different 'layer's to the opacity of the light...

I punched a few holes in the top of my container with my Crop a dial...

cut some white vinyl with my cameo to make some pretty snowflakes

Then colored my snowman from the 'inside' of the vellum before adding it to the container...

then added a tea light, (one of those led batteries tea lights)...
