Welcome to our blog hop today!!! Its my granddaughter, Lily's,first birthday and what better way to celebrate is with a little help from my friends and having a party! A beautiful baby girl with all pink buttons and bows thus we will be celebrating first birthdays using the color theme pink with a dash of buttons and bows not to mention a splash of blinng.
Sit back, grap a cupcake and punch and enjoy Lily's first birthday.
If you just happened upon my blog by mistake, I want you to get your big girl shoes and panties on and start at the beginning which is Lynne at Lynne.
SEW, if you came from Shannon then you are in the right place.
For our blog candy, it is going to be a pink package with buttons and bows of course with a bit of splash of bling and Stickles by becoming eligible with just leaving a comment on each baby step along the way and becoming a new follower if you sew desire!! How easy is that!!!!
Happy Birthday Lily !!!!
Today I bring to you a birthday wish to a dear friend's grand daughter, Lily... the blog hop is just so fun....she is having a bunch of us make birthday cards to send to her, then she will forward them to her beautiful grand daughter...
Well I saw this file from SVGCuts and said to myself, what a great Pink Buttons and Bows project that would/could make....
I got the pedestal svg file from Poplar Street Tulips SVG Kit, I used DCWV and AC Card stock... used the bow file from Silhouette America, Lori Whitlock is the creator of it...
I added some twine and a cute little flower button. Oh I just love how this project turned out....
Then I went back to the posting about the blog hop and it was at that point that things dawned on me .... I needed to make a card to put on the pedestal...a card to send to dear little Lily...
So I put together this cute little easel card.
It is a file from SVGCuts Carmel Apple Pie SVG Kit
Of course I put a Happy Birthday Spin on it, by using some other files from
I was sure to ink the edges and used LOTS of pop dots to give it dimension...
Sorry the picture does not do it justice, cuz it really is almost as cute as the pedestal it's sitting on...
I am sure you will be seeing more of this pedestal on my future postings as I think it will be great to display different items...so it stays here... sorry Miss Lily....
I hope you have enjoyed my projects for today, thanks for hopping....
Thanks for stopping by and
Happy First Birthday Lily!
Your next stop along the way Janet S....
OMG what an amazing pedestal.. love the card too...
