LOL...
it's not even July and I am already
making my cards...
well I can either say I am on top of things...
Or
I am crazy...
lol...anyway
I think it's 'I'm crazy'
cuz I spent this morning before work making this cute little card
I used a new technique
"center masking"
Oh it was fun fun fun...
you will have to click on that link to take you right to the tutorial...
Now for my project....
I used the 'center masking' technique
with 3 shades of blue
I 1st heat embossed with white embossing powder
the put the light blue clouds down
then the darker blue rain
then the royal blue on the edges and another layer of clouds
(you can't see them well under the ribbon, but its there)
added my stamped image over half the masked center on on the edges
added a BIG bow
and some buttons with twine by doodle twine ~ ladybug is the color I used
oh you can't see all the buttons... note to self... white buttons on white card stock
NOT a good IDEA...lol...
Now I am entering this project in to the following challenges:
Tutorial Time on Speedy Tv ~ new technique
