It's a ?

What do you do with an old lamp shade, some wood blocks, a pole and some spray paint...oh and a little hard work...

Ok, so it's not my original idea, but it is my own 'spin' of it...

 
It's kinda bare for now...but I have great things to hang from it... I spent less than $20.00 for all the materials. My dad put his finishing touches on it with the red pin strip on the middle post... Now I can hang all those supplies that are just 'tucked' away in drawers, never to be seen again, and put them in a clear bag and hang it on here... it even spins without moving the base!!!

Now I know the pictures are not the best, sorry, but I just could not wait for help to get a better back drop...And I just had to post it as soon as I got it finished...

I hope to find a good home for it in my craft room (I have not figured that out yet).

And if you buy it by Tuesday August 9, 2011 and you spend $9.98 (which is pretty easy) you can get this file FREE... so cool...I just love it...I have only had time to make the 'Ghost Pumpkin' but I have plans on many more...this is going to be a real versatile file...I think I saw someone made an 'apple' looking pumpkin, haha.. no really check out this new Pumpkin....It was really easy and fun and had the video tutorial to walk you step by step...so easy and so fun...go crazy with this one...

The Time Has Come

Hey, and good morning to you...hope your day starts out good and continues to be that way, remember they always say, its what you make of it that makes it count...No what happens...or something like that...lol

No really the time has come, this is my last DtsArts Design team project...I have had a good time being on a design team, but really it takes alot of time and as you all know, that time is not on my side right now!!! So for the last project I have made this bear card...Its original color are black and white for a panda bear, but no...no...no Katie has to change it up abit...so here it is.....

New SVG Gal on the block!!

Hey, I just found this new SVG gal @ The Digi Bistro... She has an online store opening tonight @ 5.  Looks way fun, you should hop on over to her blog and check out some of her work...I think I saw that she does a freebie Friday? I just snooped around a little, cuz I'm off to camping for the weekend... Going with the family...

Well, off I go...I will be posting my last DtsArts design team project this coming Tuesday!! I am sad to see this come to an end but....I think DtsArts is doing the right thing and I think it will help me get back in the groove of crafting...I have been so involved in what to make for the next project that I have forgotten what I craft for...I need some inspiration and motive to get the juices going again. Ever since my hubby went back to work...well, all hell has broken loose here...I don't know when to sleep? or where is there time to work....and in all that this schedule he has is going to change every month, so what does that mean for me, well I don't know, but I know that I HAVE GOT TO get back to doing what I love and that's scrap booking and paper crafting...so I HOPE to get some new files and some new inspiration and a fresh look on my crafting area!!! A clean crafting area is not a good thing, I don't think so anyway, it just is stuff but if you have a mess then its a work in progress. lol...

Packing the trailer so I better stop the blah blah blah, and the whoot wooh to camping and playing in the water for the weekend...Hope the sky does not fall in(you know I hope it does not rain too much)...

How Tweet it Is

Hey, good day to you!!! It's going to be a good day (I hope) I have had bad things happen to me over the last few weeks, so it's time to have a good day...

Oh Blah Blah Blah... DtsArts sent me this file and I thought it would/could make a great house warming gift for that new family in town...With school starting soon, families tend to settle in for the school year...so what better way then to make them this cute "Home Tweet Home" bag full of goodies, it could be home made cookies/treats, or it could be some school supplies for the kidos ( I know moving in general can cut in to any budget) and I can say from experience that school supplies come in handy and can be expensive...ok again Blah Blah...

Now for my project....

Just buy the birdie file from DtsArts @ diecutdesigner.com and put it on a regular old lunch bag and write on the lunch bag (it's really that simple of a project)... I found this bird was red, so be sure to look for DtsArts RED bird and make it any colors you wish...be creative and open your thoughts...(the file is simple to understand, so don't be scared for the different layers in it) keep your neighbors happy (LOL, heehee). Cuz Happy neighbors are good neighbors!!! its good to keep them on your good side.... So go ahead and make this little TWEET bag for any occasion.

Hello EVERYONE!

Yes, I am still alive! I know you missed me, lol. But with a broken camera its kinda hard to post pictures. And with the Darling husband starting a new job, life has be in a tornado...I don't know when to fit crafting and posting and family and all the in a day...oh and get some sleep in there too...Its been very restful as I have a new sleep pattern but it does me no good when I have a passion for crafting and I sleep thru it...heehee. No really life has changed alot around my house. The kids are on summer break, we go camping in our 'New' used camper that Mom and Dad bought for us, and fixed it up, wow my toilet in my 36 yr old travel trailer is better than the ones in my house, just not much room in there...but really, I just wanted to say hi and that I am sorry that I did not do a project for DtsArts this week. But be sure to check out her blog @ http://dtsartblog.blogspot.com/ .... she has a great design team and I am part of it but I am not doing so good right now, with all the changes...Anyway "hi" to all my followers and I miss posting and I miss the comments you leave, so please feel free to leave me a comment good or bad, so I know that you all still love me...
I will get some pictures posted soon. We went camping this last weekend and got some pretty funny family photos, I will have to share when I get a chance. I got really sunburned in the water, go figure, but boy it was fun and the water was just perfect...All was good until I fell and did the splitz, and I have not done the splitz since high school so it was pretty funny but I am still paying for that fall...the kids thought it was good entertainment...well, blah blah blah, so I will wrap it up for now and I hope you take the time to check out whats going on with the design team, this weeks project was a box, and I love boxes I just could not figure out how to make it look better...I will work on that still, lol. Really back to work I go...

DtsArt Design Team Project

I know its past the 4th of July, but that does not mean we have to stop thinking about our freedom and all that we have in the GREAT USA!!! I am so grateful to live in America and know that I have people willing to battle for MY freedom...It really gets to me when I think about it and all that serve MY country....Thanks to all the many men and women, past and present for your Honor and service to allow me to freedom of EVERYTHING!!!

Ok, so for this weeks design team project we were given the greatest files, I know I always say that but really these are some pretty cool files. Easy to use and fun to play with... I suggest you hop on over to Die cut designer web page and hook yourself up with DtsArts latest and greatest files...

I made mine into a card .... but there are endless options to this collection of files... so I hope you enjoy and I hope that you will drop me a note to tell me what you think...I know it is simple but its too the point...
