Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Ok so I have been so inspired to make this cute teacher appreciation desk that Thienley from the design team made that I made for my daughters teacher Miss Sartian and the other well Just cuz...anyone need one? you can pick it up by May 3. lol... well here you go...

Here is the one for 'The Best Teacher' that is up for grabs...

So what do you think... the desk top looks like a chalk board with a ribbon and the front a side views shows the detail to the books and lunch box...
There is a saying in the inside that says
A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.
For teaching cannot be measured.

  1. They turned out great! I love it! and you even made two! I like the chalkboard look with the white letters on black paper, and the knobs that you used for the first desk - what did you use? brads? I'm thrilled that you made them and shared it with me - thanks!

  2. Thienly, Thanks so much. I used buttons and eyelets...I have found that using a botton in the front then an eyelet to hold the paper strong then a button on the back to hold the front button, I have done this a few other times. I love buttons and I had a friend of mine give me what her grandmother had collected over the a gold
