My Newest Addition to My Crafting Supplies ...

OMG, I am hooked ...

I found these Alcohol Markers over at 

ConsumerCrafts

they are similar to the Copic Markers

but at a better price ... 

some might say you get what you paid for...

but not ever touching a Copic I know no difference

so with that...

here is my 1st coloring I did with these

Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers ...

If you look hard

you can see the little artist in the middle

I used a Tuxedo Black by Memento ink pad

with a StampN Plus ScrapN stamp

then I colored my image with these great markers ...

for my 1st time even opening an alcohol marker

I think I did pretty good ...

I love how they blend the colors and looks like

the edges are inked and darker...and there are

softer spots in the colors...oh fun fun fun...

So this is my newest little adventure

Graduation is Coming

I have been busy this morning...

I put together these great money holders

by SVGCuts Graduation Day Kit

I have made 3 of these so far

and they are so fun and easy...

Here is a look at the inside...

I like to put the money holder on the top

that way the gifter can write on the bottom section...

I love how I was able to tie in the envy

and the card together with the pattern paper

I got these great little A+ charms for the charm fairy

yesterday and they were just perfect for this card...

Well with that...

I just wanted to share my creation of the day...

I found this wonderful challenge blog

Our Creative Corner

and this week they have a sketch challenge

so with that ...

I decided to make it with chalk 

I used the wonderful Powered Stardust Chalk and water mix 

to spray the tag with to make it shine...

I wish you could see it better but its hard to get it to shine in the photo

but trust me its beautiful...

I just had to show you how cute the bow came out
the button and twine with twill how fun is that....

This is such a great sketch, I will use it again in the future

This week we bring you a great set of Digital stamps

OUTER SPACE BOY !!!

With this set I pulled them into Photoshop CS5 

and colored them the way I wanted,

Then I pulled them into Silhouette America Designer Edition 

traced the image and made them into cut files...

I also used the print and cut for the inside a well...

ave you ever heard me say 

HOW MUCH I LOVE MY CAMEO !!!

Digital stamps can be so fun...

Not sure how I slept through the brownies being cooked but I did...lol

I am so lucky to have 3 beautiful kids

MyGrafico Monday, Strawberry Jam...

Good Monday =  MyGrafico feature file

Today I have for you a MyGrafico project...

I took a few weeks off to realize that I really do enjoy

being on the design team for MyGrafico...

Now I am back on track, and loving it!

This is the kit we used this week...

Strawberry Jam Anyone ?

So I used my Cameo to draw the Jar from the kit

using Amy Chomas Creations adjustable marker tool

I then used the Cameo to print and cut the strawberries

(file from the Internet somewhere, thank you to who created it)

after cutting the strawberries out I wanted them to shine

so I used Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel 

by putting Glycerin on the strawberry, then the enamel, then heat it with a heat gun

yeah Glycerin and a q-tip, works great instead of using

Versa Mark, I feel that I got a better coverage of enamel using the Glycerin

Glycerin can be found in the pharmacy, its a Skin Protectant

but works wonders for embossing

That's my tip of the day ... lol

This card would be so easy to turn into a gift recipe card for 

your homemade strawberry jam recipe... 

if you make strawberry jam ... heehee

I have been busy...

I have been working on this grad party for a few weeks now...

last night I finished up my last project...
